Youngsters will be blooded

Deane Smalley (pictured) and Neal Eardley have both be called into Ronnie Moore's squad for the final league game of the season tomorrow. Both youngsters are aged 17 and should play some part in the game against Scunthorpe. Smalley is a right wingers and Eardley plays at right back.

Moore said, "A couple of the kids will definitely be involved, it's just a matter of whether they start on Saturday or I give them the last half-hour. There's a temptation to throw them straight in, tell them to have the time of their lives and see how they get on. We took Deane Smalley to Doncaster last week, and although he wasn't on the bench he's a lad who shows good pace and can beat people for fun. Tony Philliskirk and John Sheridan also speak very highly of Neal Eardley and reckon he might be captain of Wales under-19s next season."
