Chris Hall and Jason Taylor may get the chance to impress against Carlisle in the LDV trophy match on Tuesday. Hall has just signed a professional contract after some impressive outings in the reserves, a team captained by midfielder Taylor. Although boss Ronnie Moore is giving nothing away, and told the official website that 'there won’t be wholesale changes to the starting XI,' Kelvin Lomax, Matty Wolfenden (pictured), Terry Smith and Chris Lever could also be involved at some stage of the match.

Moore said, “The opportunity will be there for younger lads who have done well this season and probably deserve a game. We don’t have many fit players at the moment and I might need to leave one or two out. This is a tough month in the league so we can’t take chances, although that doesn’t mean I’m going to pick a team full of kids. We want to beat Carlisle and go through to the next round because any victory is good for confidence.”
