Freddie Ladapo and Lee Erwin scored the goals which gave the Latics a shock victory over league leaders Scunthorpe United last night.
After a terrible run of depressing home games the result came as a relief to the long suffering fans.
Both goals came as half time was approaching and the lads put in a convincing second half display to keep the Irons at bay to secure their first home league success of the season.
