Oldham 4-1 Coventry: Match Report - view commentary, squad, and statistics of the game as it happened.Latics leave Sky Blues in freefallCoventry's slide continued as they went down to a 4-1 defeat at in-form Oldham.The Sky Blues have taken just one point from their last seven games, but Oldham's impressive unbeaten run now stands at 12 matches.Oldham went ahead after nine minutes as Jonathan Forte flicked on to Danny Philliskirk, whose low 18-yard shot beat the dive of visiting goalkeeper Ryan Allsop.The Latics' lead was doubled in the 29th minute when Forte robbed Coventry defender Jordan Willis and raced clear before coolly slotting in from 12 yards.Coventry pulled one back six minutes later with their first shot on goal, 17-year-old James Maddison hitting a 25-yard free-kick which took a heavy deflection to leave Latics goalkeeper Paul Rachubka wrong-footed.But Oldham's Liam Kelly almost netted with a long-range lob before Forte struck again in the 41st minute, sprinting on to Jabo Ibehre's neat flick and beating Allsop in a one-against-one.Coventry's Shaun Miller hit the post, but Forte could have completed his hat-trick and Allsop saved well from Mike Jones.Ibehre sealed Oldham's victory 12 minutes from time when he stooped to head in a cross from Genseric Kusunga
