His first hat-trick for Latics brought his tally to 8 goals in 5 games, and 9 for the season, as Oldham demolised Orient. This is an impressive result for the Latics, as Orient are flying high in League Two.

The O's are currently fourth, but showed they may not be ready to take on League One opposition just yet. They first fell behind in the 26th minute. Will Haining was felled in the box by Jabo Ibehre, and Killen (pictured) scored the resulting penalty.

The New Zealander doubled Oldham's lead 6 minutes before half time. The superb Lee Croft crossed for Killen to head a cracking goal into the net. Killen's deserved third came in the 65th minute, with a 20 yard run before a skilful finish over Lee Harrison. It was the last time a Latics player had scored a hat-trick since Scott Vernon scored three against Grimsby Town in February.

Lee Croft added a fourth to fire Oldham into the third round of the FA Cup. Arsenal? Chelsea? Manchester United? Bring them on!
