The Latics did it again! They travelled to 4th. place Swindon and came away with three points. Paul Murray got the ball rolling when he shot from the edge of the box to give the visitors a dream start in the eigth minute. Swindon tried to get back in the game and dominated a lot of the first half play without getting any reward, mainly thanks to another good display by Pogs (pictured). The home fans booed off their team at half time. Jermaine Johnson almost doubled the score with a terrific 40 yard shot in the 68th. minute which Evans saved but seven minutes later JJ latched onto a Darren Sheridan pass to finish the job and make it 0-2. Swindon got a consolation goal through Fallon but the Latics held on for a memorable win, and one which might just be enough to stave off any remaining threat of relegation.
