Betsy banned

Kevin Betsy will be missing from action as he will be forced to serve an automatic three match ban after being sent off in the first half of the win against Accrington Stanley in the LDV Vans Trophy. His red card was received after a clash with Chris Butler when the referee decided that Betsy was guilty of violent conduct. The incident was a bizarre one and one which saw Latics manager Brian Talbot knocked to the ground. Betsy will miss the trip to Torquay and Thurrock in the FA Cup as well as the visit of Barnsley (Betsy’s old club) on 20th. November.
