Athletic are making the home game against Grimsby on Sunday 8th. February Celebration Sunday as they should be out of administration by that date. The club will be operating under their new name for the first time and a number of former Latics favourites have already promised to attend to help make it a bumper day. Keith Hicks, Shaun Garnett, Andy Ritchie (pictured), Jimmy Frizzell, Earl Barrett and Jim Bowie have already committed and more former players are hoped to follow suit. A special Strike It Lucky draw will take place at half time when a number of special prizes will be available for winning, including a trip to the USA. Visit the official site for prize details.
