Chris Grange, Athletic’s young goalkeeper, has broken his leg and will probably be out of action for the remainder of the season. The break, a spiral fracture of the left leg just above the ankle, happened at the training ground on Friday. Grange had no contact with any other player and was merely making a routine save but he was immediately taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital. X-Rays have confirmed that the youngster will need an operation as soon as the swelling has subsided. Grange has now been transferred to the Beaumont Private Hospital in Bolton.Grange breaks leg
