Holden apologises

Dean Holden has apologised to the Latics fans after his unprofessional actions at Hull.

He said, “I wish to apologise to all our supporters for the way I gestured at our away following after the final whistle on Saturday. In the heat of the moment I reacted to a small minority who were making obscene gestures towards me and it is an incident I deeply regret. As Captain of this football club I should have behaved in a professional manner. The fans have been first class in their support of this club and I hope we can put this behind us and focus on getting some positive results.” - Best wishes. Dean Holden.

Now that’s done, let’s put it behind us and get on with the season.
