JJ out for six weeks?

Jermaine Johnson suffered damaged knee ligaments in the LDV Trophy game at home to Accrington Stanley and will face an unknown absence from the game. It is anticipated that the Jamaican International will be gone for at least six weeks, which is bad news for the management team at Boundary Park. The injury to JJ, compiled with the sending off of Kevin Betsy means that the Latics will suffer heavily after their narrow victory over Accrington.

Also out of contention for the visit to Devon’s lovely Torquay will be Mark Bonner (broken foot), Rodney Jack (knee ligaments), Will Haining (hamstring) and John Eyre (hamstring). Mark Arber has a groin injury and is doubtful.
