John Sheridan (pictured) is hoping that Athletic can make a loan signing of a central defender for Saturdays game against Brighton at the Withdean Stadium . He is currently trying to get a player who is on the books of a Premiership club.Sheridan said, “It may be last minute, but I am still hopeful we will get the player in time for Saturday. The lads played very well against Brentford so there won’t be many changes, maybe one or two at the most. Saturday was another game we dominated and was similar to our draw at Grimsby. Our problem has been conceding soft goals, something we have been working to put right.”
