Former Latics boss Iain Dowie has sprung to the assistance of John Sheridan who is inundated with injuries and suspension for tomorrows match at home to Bournemouth. Dowie has allowed his promising young central defender Ben Turner to join Athletic on loan for a period of one month. The 18 year old is a product of Coventry's youth system and made one appearance for the Sky Blues last season. He has just returned from a spell at Peterborough on loan and made 10 appearances as well as two starts for Coventry in the FA Cup. Turner will be given the number 3 shirt and will go straight into the squad for the game.
