New winger Gevaro Nepomuceno can’t wait to get his Latics career under way. He said, “It has always been a dream to play in England. I’m very happy to be an Oldham Athletic player. I am happy to train and play for the team. The training has been good and I’m happy with the players and coaches so I’m happy with everything. We need to start winning games soon. I hope to play as soon as possible and show the fans what I can do.”

“I’m a winger. I like to go in the space, take the ball and dribble and I have good technique. I can also contribute goals and put in good as well. I play for Curaçao, it’s a small island in the Caribbean. Not a lot of people know this but we made history and played for the Gold Cup last summer. The style of play in the Caribbean is similar to England because most of the players play in England. They play with a lot of speed and they are strong.”
