The club have confirmed that the Joe Royle stand is to be in use again after some uncertainty between the club and the owners of the stand. The following statement has now been issued by the club:

Oldham Athletic can confirm that the Joe Royle Stand at Boundary Park will be open for the 2020/21 season and as a result season cards can now be sold in that area for the new campaign. To renew or purchase your seat online please click here from midday tomorrow (Wednesday 11 March), visit the Ticket Office in person or contact the club directly on supporter.services@oldhamathletic.co.uk and 0161 624 4972. The Early Bird deadline will remain as Wednesday 1 April.

For those who have already renewed or purchased in another stand at Boundary Park and as agreed want to move back, you can do so by again contacting the Ticket Office directly. Personal seat details are on record to make the change as hassle free as possible. The Club will continue to use spectator seats, kiosks and turnstiles, and access to the car parking areas will continue as normal for next season. Details on the use of the corporate boxes will be communicated in due course.

In the short-term for the home fixture this weekend and for the remainder of this campaign, work has been carried out on the stand but the club still await confirmation from the Council as to whether it can be opened for the duration of this 2019/20 season. Once a decision has been made an official update will be provided, but the club can take no further action at this moment in time. Club officials would like to thank all supporters for their understanding and patience on this matter which has caused considerable disruption over a period of time and would also like to offer an apology once again for the inconvenience caused.
