On Friday 5th. December, Dave Moore will be signing his first book "Oldham Athletic: On This Day". The signing will take place at the regular LSC meeting place of Moxies, Guildford which is situated at 10608 151A Street Surrey, BC, Canada and will occur between 3:30pm and 7:00pm. Carl Valentine, ex-Latics, Vancouver Whitecaps, Canadian International and Whitecaps manager wrote the foreward for the book and will be in attendance between 3:30pm and 4:30pm to also sign copies of the book.
The book, 192 pages, priced £9.99, published by Pitch Publishing ($20CDN), tells the story of the Latics' long and eventful history. With individual diary entries for every day of the year, plus multiple listings on busier dates, it is full of Boundary Park heroes (and villains) and tells the tales of the matches and the characters, the promotions and relegations - indeed, all the events, however big or small, that have helped make Oldham Athletic the club it is today. The perfect, affordable gift that no self respecting Latics fan can be without this Christmas.
