Over 3,000 Athletic fans have already bought tickets for next year. Witht the Broadway stand in the process of being demolished, more than a quarter of the renewals are for the Rochdale Road End. Sales are similar to last season and the Boundary Park administration were worried that the fans might not buy season tickets and relocate.

Alan Hardy said, "The deadline ran out at 5pm yesterday and, having looked at the figures, I'm pretty happy at this stage. I also know there will be people who are still wavering over whether or not to buy a season ticket, so we've decided to keep the discounted prices until noon tomorrow."
