Todd to be offered a contract?

Andy Todd, the Hucknall Town player on trial at Athletic, has done enough to convince Ronnie Moore that he may be worth a gamble with a contract. Todd couldn't get the time off work to accompany the team for the Isle of Man tournament but Moore said, “We’ve spoken to Andy Todd about the possibility of keeping him for 12 months. There’s no actual offer at the moment because signing a goalkeeper is top priority, but we wanted to see what kind of wages he’s after. Our problem at the moment is the number of people already here – we’ve signed some good players, and that costs money. Todd has done quite well, though, so we might take a chance on him for next season.”
